Outlook Anywhere Hosted Exchange: Sign up instructions

Read me first!

You will need your own domain name for your email ie not Hotmail, Yahoo, or Gmail etc...

You'll then need to change the DNS settings for your domain. If you require support or assistance contact us!

STEP 1 – Sign up to Outlook Anywhere Hosted Exchange

Sign up to Outlook Anywhere by clicking “Sign up now!” below.

STEP 2 – Change your DNS records

After we have confirmed your mailboxe(s) are setup on Exchange, you will need to add the following entries to your Domain Name's DNS:

• Add a CNAME of autodiscover pointing to autodiscoverredirect.thevirtualcloud.com
  This is so Outlook can connect to your mailbox quicker and automatically.
• Change your MX record to point to mailgate.thevirtualcloud.com
  If you have any other MX records delete them, if you're asked for a Preference number, enter 10.

If you need help changing your DNS records, contact your Domain Name or web hosting provider.

STEP 3 – Enjoy Outlook Anywhere Hosted Exchange!

You will be able to download your copy of Outlook 2007 (Windows) or Entourage 2008 (Mac) from http://provisioning.thevirtualcloud.com/outlooksetup/ as well as help setting up the software.

Email should start to arrive in your new Outlook Anywhere mailbox within a few hours, don’t cancel your old email service until you’re happy email is being received ok!

The "First month for £1" offer will revert back to the usual price after the first month unless you cancel.

• £6.50 per month for a 1GB mailbox.
• £7.50 per month for a 2GB mailbox.
• £8.50 per month for a 3GB mailbox.
